For this project, I was provided with a predefined user persona. While I didn’t conduct the initial research to develop this persona, I used it as a key reference point throughout the design process.
1.
As a frequent user, I want to be able to share routines with my friends who may also be interested, so that I can encourage them to become healthier.
2.
As a frequent user, I want to track progression and record what I’ve done, so that I can see my progress over time.
3.
As a frequent user, I want to be able to earn achievements or rewards, so that I can stay motivated.
4.
As a new user, I want to be shown how the exercises are done, so that I know I’m doing them correctly.
5.
As a frequent user, I want to be able to schedule exercises for working out, so that I build positive habits.
6.
As a new user, I want to learn about different exercises, so that I can figure out what is best for me.
7.
As a frequent user, I want to complete daily challenges, so that I can have an additional way to stay motivated.
For these mood boards, I focused on UI design research to create a cohesive look and feel that aligns with the chosen key words. Every design element was selected to inspire engagement, motivate users, and foster a welcoming experience. These examples illustrate how typography, colors, imagery, and UI elements work together to achieve the desired user experience.
I believe the chosen words best align with the core needs and goals of the persona. Flexible reflects the app's ability to adapt to users' varied schedules and fitness levels. Approachable emphasizes the importance of creating an inviting space for individuals of all fitness levels. Finally, inspiring was chosen to capture the motivational aspect of the app, fostering growth, healthy habits, and a sense of community.

After sketching and creating low-fidelity wireframes, I moved into mid-fidelity wireframes, focusing on refining the main features of the app and defining their core functions. From there, I progressed to high-fidelity wireframes, incorporating final design elements and visual details.
